What is a d/c

Question

Second m/c began last night :( I don't want to go through another week of awful pain and my husband and I are leaving for a vacation on thurs. Can someone tell me if there are any options or how to relieve some of the physical pain?

See your dr or go to the early pregnancy unit, they may perform a procedure for you that will complete the miscarriage. I'm so sorry for your loss. Use your holiday as an opportunity to rest and escape reality. We had our loss confirmed and surgically dealt with on 1st may (at 10.5 wks 'pregnant' & day before our wedding) and having the honeymoon to get away from everything/everybody has been very useful. Xx
