you can...BUT...  many women have a seond LH surge after ovulation before their period is supposed to start so it wouldnt be reliable.  some do get a positive opk and end up pregnant, but its usually just a coincidence.  its not a reliable test for pregnancy.

You could if your period is late. If your pregnant the ovulation test should be a straight positive.
