Sex still hurts... anyone else?

So I'm a little over 3 months post-partum and sex is waaay too painful. My husband can't even penetrate me without me in so much pain 😭 I had a 2nd degree tear that healed within a few weeks, so I don't know what's up. I've heard if you're breastfeeding you are low in estrogen and that makes it dryer down there.
 Anyone else? How long till you were able to be intimate??

I only had a first degree tear and I’m 3 months pp and it still hurts when he first puts it in. So I cant imagine how it feels with a 2nd degree tear. For me a little wine and lube helped the pain. For you it might take more time to heal but lube might help (I like coconut oil for lube).

I had a second degree tear and some complications healing, so I waited until about 4 months. It didn’t really hurt, but peeing immediately afterward burned for months! Finally things returned to normal around 10 months. Look into estrogen cream.

Oh yes. I had a 2nd degree tear as well. I had sex 7 weeks pp, literally the day i got the ok from my doctor. It was PAINFUL. My advice is use a lot of lube. If it hurts stop & use more lube or even give it more time, im 10 weeks pp now & sex is just now getting more comfortable.

Oh god this scares me. I had almost fourth degree tears and I’ll be six weeks next Saturday and my husband is dying for sex

Definitely use lube and if still in pain then ask your OB for estrogen cream. It can help with the healing and dryness and doesn't effect breastfeeding. I was prescribed the little pill kind to put in internally and two other types of creams for the outside and they seriously worked overnight!

3.5 months and still no sex here either, 2nd degree tear as well. It’s just too painful 🤷‍♀️

Yes to the desert vagina and breastfeeding. Just get some lube and don’t be afraid to use it!!!
