I have been putting up with domestic violence for three years! My husband hits me all the time and tells people that I self harm and hallucinate. My husband feels that I owe him my life because he brought me into this country so he is very controlling and expects me to do as he says and when. He hits me at every slight opportunity and when I tell my family, they never believe me because of how sweet and caring he pretends to be around them and in public. He makes it seem like I am making things up. I tried to hide a camera in the house to capture his behaviour but unfortunately he came in and saw me setting up the camera, let’s just say that didn’t go well and I had some bruises for that. We have two kids. I want all this to stop but I really do not know how. Please, help me!
