I exclusively pump for my 7 month old. I recently changed the valves on my Spectra S1 pump and oh man has that hurt. I feel like I started all over again. It’s been about two weeks now and the pain has not gotten better.. the suction is so strong that it sliced the bottom of nipple (not my nipple but the area underneath it) I have a literally a slice that opens up every time I pump cuz of the friction of the flanges on my skin. I don’t know what to do... I already put coconut oil on the flanges but it’s not helping. The wound just opens up every time I have to pump. Does anyone know if I can put a liquid bandaid on the cut? Or any other advice
