Is this pcos?

I’ve have a few appointments with a fertility office already and had a follicular scan on CD 3. After the scan the doctor said everything looked fine and that I had 19 follicles on one ovary and 22 on the other. Everything I’ve read online says that 10-12 is normal per ovary. Do the extra follicles mean I may have pcos? I have very regular periods, to the day with average/minimal cramps. And really the only other symptoms I have similar to PCOS is acne here and there, but it’s not awful. Is this something common for those with PCOS?

I am also a person with PCOS and minimal side effects. It is a frustrating condition but not the worst. I’d ask your doctor what the extra follicles mean and to do blood work and test your LH and FSH levels. That should also help indicate if PCOS is the issue. Good luck to you and know you aren’t alone in the struggle against PCOS. There are a lot of great options these days to help regulate cycles.

Possibly. I had a similar count on my ultrasound. The ultrasound along with a higher than normal fsh my doc said I have pcos. Prior to that i was never diagnosed with pcos (32) and always had regular periods.  Good news is, all is not lost with pcos If undergoing Ivf treatment. I underwent ivf due to make factor, but pcos allowed me to have lots of eggs (38 total, 32 mature, and 16 embryos). Good luck!
