Bleeding between periods

Hey all. I recently got permission from my doctor to take my pill for three packs continuously, then break for my period, instead of having one every month.

I’m now coming to the beginning of my 3rd week in my 3rd month, but I have been having what I would consider bleeding heavy enough to be a period for the last 7 days (my normal pill period are only 3-5). I’ve never encountered this before- I’ve been regular and reliable since I was 11 (literally 10 years now)! I plan on calling my doc tomorrow to check in, but I’m frustrated more than anything!

I’ve also been SO MUCH MORE EMOTIONAL now than I have been in any of the 3.5 years I’ve been on the pill. I take it every night at 9pm without missing- I have an alarm on my phone so I don’t forget so I know that’s not it.

Can anyone relate? Or help?
