Okay so yesterday in my birthing class they mentioned dehydration slowing down the laboring process. She said she's seen ladies in labor get dehydrated and their contractions slow down, and start to become less frequent and they stop dilating. After they get some fluids via IV she said their contractions pick up and so does dilation.

Yes I know dehydration can cause braxton hicks, because my Dr said I was experiencing them because of it when i was at like 25weeks.

I do plan on asking my Dr is what she said is true, but for now do any of you ladies know for sure?
