Hello mamas - I know there are other similar posts on here, but I could really use some extra help. My six week old son absolutely will not sleep unless he is in my arms or on my chest. I have tried all of the recommendations about laying him down when he is sleepy, I have tried to move him after he's already fallen asleep, I have tried the swings and vibrating chairs and rock and plays and infant cushions - you name it, I have tried it. Within five minutes of putting him down, he is crying to the point of shaking and hyperventilating. Is this normal for six weeks old? Is it too early to try to sleep train? I am at an absolute breaking point.
