Low HCG levels?

I went to my first OB today. Couldn’t find anything on the ultrasound and I’m estimated at 5 weeks 2 days... HCG levels were in the mid to high 200s, I couldn’t remember the exact number. Does this seem normal? My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage last year. I can’t help my fear of it happening again...

Hi - I’ve had 4 losses.  My last one was similar to what you’re saying - my hCG was 264 at close to 6 weeks and they say nothing, not even a sac, on the u/s.  Unfortunately I has the miscarriage a few days later .   I hope yours is sticky, but like the other ladies say your hCG should be much higher at week 5.  If you think you might be earlier in the pregnancy then it’s still possible - nothing shows on u/s until at least 1,000-2,000 hCG levels.

I got the sac at 5 weeks 5 days but my HCG was like 25,000! It could be possible that baby isn’t producing a lot of HCG yet. When Is your next ultrasound?

At 5w 3d my level was in the 5,000s and nothing was seen on ultrasound. 2 days later it was in the 13,000s and yolk sac was seen.
