I have a question

AF is due on Wednesday the 22nd me and my husband had sex almost the entire Peak Week and I know I'm just torturing myself but I took a pregnancy test this morning first thing and it came out negative it was just some generic test not like name brand or anything but I want to know if it's a true negative or because I haven't "missed my period" yet it can still be positive I'm just torturing myself I know I should have waited but normally my period is 3 or 4 days early, so this time I haven't gotten it early cuz it's due on Wednesday so that's why I took the test but that test came out negative so I don't know but is there still hope or should I just go with I'm not pregnant any advice I really appreciate it thanks ladies baby dust to everybody
