How would you pronounce Maegan?

I really like the “May” part, but I don’t think people separate Megan and Maegan anymore since there are so many spellings for the same name...I don’t want to name her one thing and have everyone call her the wrong name forever or be constantly correcting people.

my name is Megan and people say "maygan" all the time. I actually can't remember the last time someone called me correctly. it used to annoy the hell outta me and still irks me but I just go with it.
