How would you pronounce Maegan?

I really like the “May” part, but I don’t think people separate Megan and Maegan anymore since there are so many spellings for the same name...I don’t want to name her one thing and have everyone call her the wrong name forever or be constantly correcting people.

My name is Megan and it’s always been pronounced like May-gan. My mom will even call me May May. Doesn’t bother me a bit and I wouldn’t ever get annoyed with it. I always tell people it’s spelled the normal way because all other ways to spell it just seem crazy to me.
