6w scan no baby?!

Question

So I just had a scan at 5w6d since lmp. they saw a sac which was round, and a yolk sac but no fetal pole. They seemed positive that everyrhing was ok, but I'm nervous since so many people seem to see a baby and hb at 6w. Should I be concerned? they said the sac measured at 5w.

Too early to see don’t worry - wait two weeks and go back it’ll be fine :)

It just means you likely ovulated later than you thought and so you’re not as far as you thought. The fact that they saw a feral pole is awesome because it means it’s not an empty sac. It’s hard but just gotta get to that next scan to see your little peanut :)

Dont stress girl, i was 8 weeks before they did an ultrasound because even then its still pretty early. They found the baby but it took a long time but at 12 weeks they scanned again and heartbeat and baby are growing strong. Just ask if you can come back in a few weeks if you’re scared :)

too early. my doc said not to get my uc done until 8 weeks that way they can hear a HB

when I got my first ultrasound from LMP I was a little over 9 weeks.  My son measured at 8 weeks. I think anywhere before 7 weeks for an ultrasound is to early... as many mom's on here have freaked out about not seeing anything when they are just simply not as far as long as they thought.

When I had my first scan @ 6w the same thing happened to me. I had another one yesterday and I have a baby that likes to beat it self up and kick tons! No worries hun. Congrats!
