Help?!

I'm 40 weeks and 3 days and I had my cervix checked today. I'm only dilated 1cm. I thought all of my mucus plug fell out a week ago but now I'm having this blood clot looking thing everytjme I use the bathroom. Can anyone tell me what this is?!

Just for piece of mind I would call the on call center at the hospital and see what they say they can direct you to the labor and delivery department and I'm sure they will answer any questions you may have.

I would say you're close! It can be from being checked today though. I didn't dilate past a 1 until I was in labor (had her at 40w 6d!)

I went to the bathroom again and I didn't have any blood clot/mucus I'm thinking it might have just been the rest of my mucus plug the nurse that answered said that as log as I'm not bleeding more then a table spoon I should be fine and not worry.
