Honestly in my opinion I love pads. Especially because I'm heavy I just feel more comfortable. Oh well. No swimming for a week.

I think it all depend on the person and their body. I personally have a prominate pelvic bone so using tampons hurts. Downfall to using pads though is I am always paranoid about leaking ?

I don't wear tampons, even the smallest lightest ones are uncomfortable for me. I choose pads everytime... Besides, it's not like I go swimming every day so I'm not even missing out! Lol!
