How long after a miscarriage can you have sex ?

I’m just about done bleeding and I was told I couldn’t have sex for a while due to infection but my obgyn never gave me an exact time?

Hmmm, I thought the basic timeframe would be 6 weeks... I don't know where these 3 months are coming from, I've NEVER heard of that! I know my sister didn't wait longer than 6 weeks after her miscarriages and she has endometriosis with 2 surgeries. She now has two cuties!

I was told to wait 3 to 2 normal cycles to try again but for sex its 3 weeks depending when you stop bleeding.

Not sure about sex, but was told to wait a cycle before ttc again. My miscarriage was very early on though.
