Sleeping while pumping?

Am I the only one who starts to drift off or falls completely asleep while pumping? I’m new to breastfeeding/ pumping (my only lo is a week old today), but this doesn’t seem normal to me. Is there any way to make it stop?

this happens to me too. it may not be normal but i don't think it's a problem. just a few minutes ago i was feeding him and pumping because i was leaking so i figured why not? and i nodded out and what felt like a short amount of time happened to be almost 10 minutes baby was falling asleep too lol. todsy is our first day home, but i was even doing that in the hospital. i was falling asleep texting, pumping, feeding, sometimes eating lol. our body's jusydid s lot of work and we're sleepy. it happens i wouldn't worry about it as long as you're not driving or standing

Being new to nursing it’s actually normal to fall asleep during nursing baby or pumping it’s your hormones being released that cause you to go to sleep . I had it horrible with my first .
