I'm thinking about getting my daughter's step-mom a Christmas gift from me. She's more of a dad compared to her actually dad. She checks in on her and for holidays she is always texting and inviting her over. My daughter loves her. The dad and I don't have any communication what so ever because he is a dead beat and refuses to contact me regarding our daughter. He blamed it on because I'm married he didn't want to start problems but that's a lie! My daughter even has a cell phone and guess what he never calls her or check in on her. She always have to reach out to him and if she didn't they wouldn't talk. It's a lot more but pretty much I appreciate her (she's been with my sperm donor for over 6 years and my daughter is 9btw) this will be my first year getting her something. What you guys think? They are not married but I say she's my daughter's stepmom
