I gave birth to my baby girl @11:04 12/18/17. Today I have to leave the hospital but she’s not coming with me and I am dreading getting out of this bed to leave her. They admitted her to the NICU literally 30 minutes after we got to our pp room which was a hour or so after she arrived. I haven’t been able to feed her, snuggle her, or even be in her presence for longer than 10 minutes at a time.

They admitted her because her oxygen levels were low and she was turning purple. Her oxygen levels are back up & she doesn’t have a breathing tube anymore but now they are saying she has to eat a ounce of formula before she can leave and she barely touches the 10-15ml she’s getting now. I’m hoping she decides she wants to eat some more before I leave so I can leave with her today or come get her tomorrow. 😭😢 I cant deal with the thought of leaving her alone here 😞😞😞😞

Baby made it home yesterday on the 21st. She passed all tests and blood work which makes me soooo happy 😁😁😁😁 she been doing extremely well and my milk finally came in!! Probably from all the crying she’s been doing trying to fight her sleep 😂😂 here’s some pictures of my sweets.
