Get it from a place with a long return policy. We got something similar only to discover our son refused to sleep flat. A lot if newborns hate being flat and in a wide open (to them) space.

I just took the side of my cot and pushed it up against our bed. Cheaper and it gets them use to sleeping in their cot.

The co-sleeper is perfect!

I have the arms reach co sleeper. I love it. The guidelines for it say to use until the baby is around 6 months.

I've got the babybay brand. It's great. I love having my son next to me. I can reach over and settle him easily if he is stirring and feed him in bed then put him back to sleep. He is 59cm long and is 7 weeks old. The length of the maxi babybay is 94cm and I think they estimate that you should be able to get 12 months out of it before bub is too big. They all vary in size so just check the websites to see what the recommended age is. Obviously some babies are longer than others so the amount of use you would get out of it will vary.
