Product recommendations for frizzy hair

I hate my hair so much. I’m in the process of growing it, but I’ve always had issues with frizziness. Even now that I’ve stopped blow drying or flat ironing.

Does anyone know if the frizz ease products work? And if not can you recommend something else? Also trying to grow the hair around my temples back thicker. It’s thinning out and is really noticeable when I wear it in a ponytail. 😥

I’m half tempted to throw in the towel and just go to a salon every week, but that would cost me a fortune.
