Flying at 30 weeks?

Hello all- I know most airlines are fine with it and currently waiting my dr’s response but anyone’s thoughts on flying (state-wide not international) at 30 weeks?

I was doing 14-15 hour flights up until was 34 weeks.

In my past 2 pregnancies I've flown twice in my last trimester and it's fine, just go to the desk at your terminal and ask if you can get a preboarfing ticket because you need to be near the bathroom and they will give it to you

I just got done flying at 24 weeks. I know it’s not the same amount of weeks but I did notice on the way there I had some uncomfortable heartburn. I bought Tums for the way back and of course I didn’t get it then. Also I noticed my legs cramping up so I suggest walking about as much as you can. I did a lot of that waiting for the plane and tried to get all my pee breaks out.

There’s a chapter in Expecting Better about flying. There are not any measurable risks with flying in any trimester. I flew Chicago to Seattle this week at 24 weeks. I would imagine the only thing your doctor would be concerned about is if you’re at increased risk for pre-term labor for any reason. 
I would also get a note from your doctor though that you’re safe to fly. You don’t want a flight attendant hassling you at the gate.

I will be flying at 32 weeks. My doctor said it was fine as long as I don’t have any issues between now and then.

My doctor said flying or travel in general is fine until 36 weeks as long as everything is normal. As long as you can get up and move around every hour or so to avoid swelling.

Flying several times in the third trimester. My doc said it's perfectly fine as long as I get up every 2 hours and walk around/ do stretches to avoid risk of DVT.

I flew all the time for work with first baby with no problems.  Dr cleared me up until 36 weeks and I never had issues.  Same this time around.  Just stay hydrated and remember to get up and stretch your legs (I didn't do that with the first, but this Dr recommended that along with compression socks).
