Gender reveal dress maybe?

So I'm not very fond of wearing dresses or heels. But I'm doing a gender reveal for my baby and I was thinking that maybe this dress would be nice to wear for that occasion. I don't know which shoes to wear or if I should get a different type of shoes? Ideas on what to wear would be very much appreciated.
