do any ladies out there encounter the same issue as me? me and my boyfriend have been together for quite a long time now, and my boyfriend's family are more like an open family, indeed very nice people. his mum keeps asking me "when are you free?" or"when's my off day?" im really grateful that she's someone whom is easy to talk to. She seems really excited to know more about me and even meet me.. Whereas for my mum, id say she's a very religous person.. i told my mum about this issue, and she was against it. she told me being together isnt really serious yet . Unless he's ready to take the next step which is to marry, then she'll allow. she doesnt like it when we're just girlfriend /boyfriend but is alrdy so close to each other's families which ive seen lots of my friends does it. my mum just doesnt like the idea of them knowing so much about me when we're just couple which we dont even know if we'll last. im getting alittle bit stressed out. his mum keeps asking for me and i have alrdy turned her down the other time when i was invited to their party, but i told them i couldnt make it due to work. but ive alrdy told my boyfriend that whatever it is i cant see his family.. he keeps saying he understand.. but i knw he doesnt.. few days ago his mum dm-ed me at ig, she asked me whn im free, and to keep this a secret from my boyfriend....i feel really bad for turning her down constantly..i knw what my mum did is to protect me.. but...sigh. im like the middle person now.. my boyfriend also wants me to be close to his family.. its not that i dont want..but it's cause of my mum.. im alrdy suffering from depression guys, even my mum doesnt knw about it, there was one time when i accidentally raised my voice to my mum, telling her to say it herself that she doesnt allow me to see his family to his mum. like mum-mum talk. and she said no, she doesnt wanna get involved with the mum, but she can talk to my boyfriend about it..i tell her im alrdy stressed, she said what for.. shes not in my place.. she doesnt know..
