T-Dap vaccine ?

Who is getting their T-Dap vaccine during pregnancy ? They want to give it to me at my next appt . I’ll be 31 weeks . I don’t want to get it . Opinions ?

Super important. Protects your baby against whooping cough, which can be fatal to infants. Not sure why you wouldn’t want to get it - the vaccine is safer than the risk of whooping cough.

I got it. It's not a live vaccine and protects you and baby. Arm was sore the next day but otherwise i feel fine

Gah! Get it! You can’t control who eats it around you. You REALLLYYY want to pass some of the immunities down to the baby. I don’t even want to know why you don’t want to get it but I encourage you to read some medical journals etc.

I just got it today at my 28 week appointment.

My doctor wants me to get it at my next appt at 28 weeks.  Just do your best to research. The vaccine insert for Adacel blatantly says in it that the safety and effectiveness hasn’t been studied in pregnant women and that it is unknown whether it can cause fetal harm.  I’m not planning to get it because it just took too long for us to get to this point and have a healthy pregnancy, and the benefit doesn’t outweigh the risk for me.  Do your research and make whatever decision you feel is best for you and your baby 🙂

I got it a few hours after my son was born. I was told that the antibodies would get to him through my breastmilk

Im in the UK. So my answer may be different to Americans. 
I initially declined the vaccine as it is very new in this country with no research. Also the insert says that it is unsure if the vaccine causes fetal harm. 
This made me very worried as the only answers they have are when a woman gets the vaccine and its basically a waiting game to see what happens. Most of the answers come from the USA where the vaccine has been around for a little longer. (I was given this information from my consultant)
I then decided to get the vaccine as I found out I am very high risk of catching whooping cough, plus with my medical history and speaking, again, with my consultant. We deemed it safer to get the jab and bare any side effects rather than risking myself or baby getting sick/potentially dying. 
With regards to the statistics. I was told 60-70% of pregnant women accept the jab. 50% get side effects (anything from a sore arm - a fever) and 0% of babies were harmed in utero.

I’m declining after doing research. I recommend doing your own research, reading the vaccine insert, and making your own decision about it. It’s always best to educate yourself and form your own opinions!
