Not Physically, But Verbally. That Has Completely Crushed Your Emotional Wellness? My Mother Has Always Put Material Things Above Me. I Try So Hard To Understand Her & Please Her. But I’m So Tired Of Being Put Down, Being A Failure. This Is Only Pushing Me Harder To Be A Great Wife & Mother One Day. Can Anyone Relate?

absolutely. This is how I think of it, my mom isn't completely useless..sure she compares me to my brother, demands I water my plants 3 days after giving birth with 3rd degree tears, doesn't offer to help me with the baby (she's across the street and is retired) and always has something negative to say about how I parent my 6 month old. BUT, my mom being an alcoholic lazy mess teaches me exactly how to not parent my daughter and om grateful for that. your mom is teaching u exactly how not to be in life, look at it that way.

Are you still living with your mom; are you a minor? If not, just because she’s family doesn’t mean you have to have a relationship with her. As an adult we get the ability to choose who we want in our life. Granted she is your mom by blood and you probably do love her, the relationship is toxic and isn’t healthy. You can disconnect completely or just remove yourself and talk to her ON YOUR OWN WILL (not feel forced or cohorts). 
If you arent 18 and still live at home, just know one day you will get to choose.

My mom is a shitty person. She pretty much lost her mind, moved states away leaving my 16 year old sister behind, took out credit cards in my dads name and is avoiding the law. She doesn’t see fault in anything she does so I’ve cut her out 100%.

my best friend's mom is abusive to her verbally she makes her changing her mind all the time. she makes her break up with boyfriends by making her think it's the right thing to do and right now she has her in a relationship that's not good for he. when she should be with the other guy that she actually loves. but her mom had convenced her he is bad. so yes there are others you are not alone.
