I am just over 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child (1st is 19y.o 😉) & I started bleeding & spotting this week after my husband & I had sex. I went to the doctor & had a sonogram completed where they found a subchorionic hematoma. Most of the blood is when I wipe & not much on my pad, but I have had mild to medium cramping & a couple small clots. The nurse said its 50/50 chance of miscarriage & that I was right on the border of being too early to hear/see a heartbeat. Talk about not calming my fears! They said ideally I would come back in a week for another sonogram but we just went out of town for the holidays (we had to go due to obligations) so I have an appt for 1 on January 5th. I am going to try & see if my old dr back home can do one while we are in town but not sure if he is open. My questions are, have any of you had experience with this? How long did you bleed? What are some questions I should ask the doctors office? Anything I should/shouldn't do? Thanks in advance!
