What I did to conceive with PCOS..

Mommy Of 2

I have heard a lot of women that take metformin or clomid or some time of medicine to help you ovulate to conceive.. I never took any of those meds. I was diagnosed with PCOS last year, after trying for a few years to have a baby. My doctor prescribed me adipex, she told me that weight loss would help with the PCOS and make it easier to get pregnant (she also to told me that low carb diets works best for PCOS patients, if you don’t want to take any weight loss pills) but I wanted it now. So I opted for the pill, anyways, I took adipex for 2 months. I started getting headaches, really bad headache. So I just stopped taking it.. I had lost 15 lbs. in that 2 months, and the next month I got pregnant. We found out December 15th that we are FINALLY expecting baby #1 😍

I just wanted to post that weight loss really helped with my PCOS and fertility, I have never been able to lose weight on my own, diets, exercise, drinking only water.. etc. because of my PCOS (from what I was told) but adipex made a baby possible in 2 short months, so if you ladies haven’t tried any kind of weight loss meds, OR low carb diets, like the Atkins diet, then it just might work. Good luck and baby dust to all you lovely ladies.
