Feeding

So my baby is not yet breast feeding but we’re working on it . He was a NICU baby and we are supplementing with formula . Whatever I do happen to pump (which isn’t much) gets added into his formula . While in NICU , they had us feeding every 3 hours so I would get up 30 minutes prior to pump and the id bottle feed. I am wondering how often you ladies feed. I was thinking of creating my own schedule of every 4 hours . I think that it’d work best for my whole family but I don’t know if that would mess up anything. I haven’t seen the pediatrician yet but probably will next week. I do know that my baby’s pediatrician is very much for on demand feeding ..however , my baby doesn’t wake up screaming and crying to be fed.
