Thrush or Milk Tongue? 😭

Question

My LO is almost 5 weeks old and I noticed white on his tongue. He doesn’t seem bothered by anything and I don’t have pain while nursing but I was just wondering if this is thrush or just milk?

I tried to wipe it off with a finger and it didn’t come right off.

I haven’t tried with a washcloth yet but it’s not easy getting into his mouth 😓

I’m not even positive it’s constantly there but it’s been there all this morning.

Looks like my son’s tongue and we were just at the doc and they said it was milk! They told me thrush would be on his gums and cheeks, too.

this is what my little girls looks like as well and i thought it was just milk but my nipples were getting sore as well and it was thrush! she got really bad nappy rash as well that turned out to be thrush. maybe get it checked out because it’ll never go away without treatment!

Try A Warm Wash Cloth , If Its Just Milk Most Of It Will Come Off ! & Boil His Bottle Nipples & Wash All Bottles In Hot Water Just To Be On The Safe Side ! (if You Pump & Give Him Bottles) My Middle Son Had Thrush But He Was Strictly Bottle Fed ! But We Did That & He Got Some Medicine From His Dr It Cleared Up Pretty Quick !
