Every woman is different. Chances are lower if you haven't received your periods yet, but you could also have been very unfortunate and are actually in your first cycle since giving birth.

Have you started your cycle yet? Is your baby older than 6 months? Are you ebf or supplementing with formula...lot of variables

You are most fertile after you give birth. Hormones CAN change your fertility while breast feeding but breast feeding IS NOT birth control. So if you want another baby soon but don’t want to actively try then having unprotected sex while breast feeding is the way to go. If you don’t want another baby then use some sort of protection.

Got my cycle back when my son turned 10 months,  just got a BFP and he’s now 14 months.  He’s always been exclusively breastfed until we introduced solids.  We still nurse throughout the day and at night.  So yes it’s possible.
