What did you do on your 18th birthday?

I didn’t plan anything because I thought my boyfriend (at the time) would plan something, or at least just hang out with me for the day. Long story short, he didn’t care that it was my birthday and apparently had already planned to hang out with his best friend (who was secretly gay for him) and go disc golfing— which I don’t even enjoy. I asked him if he could change it to the weekend but he told me no and that I could go with them if I wanted... I had no other options really so I went with them and I was sad the whole time. I was basically third wheeling. That guy was an ass haha 
BUT a couple years later I was telling the story to a different friend and he was filled with compassion so he threw me a redemption 18th birthday party! Complete with pizza, a movie, party hats, games, and all my friends were there. It was innocent and sweet and he was very kind. Find friends like that. They’re the best ones. 
Anyway, I hope your 18th birthday is better than my first 18th birthday was!

Moved out and moved in with my high school sweetheart. Which was a bad decision because I was a little brat to my mother. But in a way it worked out because by living with my boyfriend I found we weren't compatible and ended up breaking up.
