So how does this work ?

My parents haven’t called in a week. Baby has been home for a week. Do I really need to call them ? I don’t want to hear them complain. But I would think since I am the one getting up every 3 hours and settling in they should be calling to check in. One more thing about them that puzzles me. Should I be inviting them over? Or should they call and ask when they should come? Settling in with baby number 2 don’t need their guilt and their nonsense. My house isn’t in order like it usually is so I’m in no rush. Especially to hear my mother’s comments.
