Should I opt for a version or c section?

I had a vaginal labor with an epidural with my first baby and it went well but I was recently informed that my second baby is breach. I'm not too good with pain (I pass out very easily) so I'd like to go for the least painful option. What do you guys think I should do? Version or a c section?

Recovery from a c section was the most painful thing I have ever been through in my entire life. Some people are fine but ALLLLL of my nerves reconnected.

I work as a L&D; nurse and some ladies say that versions aren't at all painful, just lots of pressure. You could always try a version and if it's too uncomfortable just have them stop and opt for the csection. Also check out spinning babies! I had success turning my transverse baby doing their moves at 36-37 weeks.

I had a vaginal birth with my first and a section with my second. The section was a much worse recovery. Incredibly painful, for days. It’s abdominal surgery, even taking a shower was nearly impossible at first. I hope to never go through that again.

My c section recovery was not good. I am doing everything in my power to vbac and not have to feel that way again. I would try to turn baby, spinning babies has decent success

I don't know about a c-section, but the version wasn't a big deal at all, just a bit uncomfortable, and it took all of the 15 minutes.

With a version it’s mostly pressure. I can tell you, you will also have pressure during a csection as well when they are trying to push the baby down through the incision. With my 3rd they had to apply such intense pressure it felt like they were crushing my insides and it bruised my stomach black and blue for about a month. Then, you’ll have the pain of surgery afterwards. I would at least TRY to flip the baby. Flipping Babies is a great suggestion.

Idk anything about the version. But I stopped dilating with my son and had emergency section and i recovered wonderfully. Now he was a nicu baby so I was walking back and forth every two hours that could have had a play on it.
