Do you think Christmas is more stressful than enjoyable?

To me Christmas has always been a stressful balancing act of trying to spend the right amount of time with everyone. And the stress of trying to find heartfelt gifts for everyone.

I’ve been speaking with friends: awake all night just to make cake and food.
Running their heads off 
Not sleeping
To make sure the house is clean and there is much more food than enough!
I JUST DON’T GET IT!!!
Yes I have cleaned, prepared gifts and food but not more than what we need. Just because is Christmas it doesn’t mean we will be eating all day!
It should be about enjoying the fact thatwe get together give gifts and have fun!

I’m iffy on Christmas, I used to really dislike it. Now I am pregnant, have my own family and extended family to celebrate with and it’s not always great, but I like it more with my fiancé.

We just stopped leaving home for Christmas. We worked things out with family to have ThanksChristmas in between Thanksgiving and Christmas and we all spend we all spend Christmas at home with our kids. That eliminated a lot of the stress.

This year it will be. i have family who can't leave the homes they live in, so I have to do a TON of driving. lol

I love everything about Christmas. 
But I find seeing my in laws stressful. They’re divorced-about 3 years - and they still insist on hosting holidays together...with both sides of their families. So it’s incredibly awkward and you feel the hate radiating from each side towards the other.

yeah it's busy and so much happening. but it's all fun stuff and pretty lights! and movies! and santa!

This year yes because I’m almost 39 weeks pregnant and all day tomorrow I have to collect all of my pee no matter where I’m at and keep it in the fridge wherever I am, I’m getting embarrassed thinking about it again 😂
