Is my baby getting enough to eat?

Gabriel just turned a week old today and he will generally only eat for about 12 minutes on one side then sleep for at least 2 and a half hours during the day and only wakes up two or three times at night to eat, he's having plenty of wet and dirty diapers though, and its almost impossible to get him to wake up to eat

As long as diapers are good then there shouldn't be an issue. He might not be eating for long because your milk is in and he doesn't need to suck forever to get anything. My son definitely doesn't eat for as long now. Try changing diaper right before feeding to wake him up. Stroke his cheek to stimulate him when he nurses.

Don't mistake hungriness for a leap or growth spurt.  You always have milk in your breasts, even after you just nursed there is a reserve.  Newborn go through tons of leaps and spurts during the first few weeks of life.  Call your DR or local lactation support group and see if you can do a weighted feed, weigh baby before then feed then weigh baby the same way again, this will show you how much baby is currently pulling.  Also our cycles don't regulate till around 6 weeks, if your worried about your BM then you want to stay hydrated, lots of skin to skin time as well as lots of time with baby on the breast. It sounds good (sleeping and diapers). If you want to experiment then try to give him bottle 2 or 3 times to see how he reacts then with sleeping etc.
My breasts are like pacifiers to my kid. When he eats directly, nipples are so hard that he falls asleep tired afterwards and doesn’t eat enough. 
I gave him Tomme Tippi and Avant bottle. 2 times will not hurt to try. Baby will still take your breast.
