Need help

I’ve been hanging out with a new guy. We like each other and everything was going perfectly until he kissed me. WORST KISS EVER!! I pulled back and had to stop myself from laughing because it was so bad. I’m pretty sure he thinks it was horrible too. I really like him but we aren’t super super close yet so I don’t know how to bring it up to him? Or if I just deal with it or what, HELP! The sexual chemistry is there but there was no rhythm and it was a bad kiss.
