Labor with a breech baby?

Question

Does anyone know what happens at the hospital if I go into labor and my baby is still breech? I am 32 weeks and at risk for preterm labor (short cervix and 1cm dilated). My doctor said they won't try to turn my baby until 35-37 weeks. If I go into labor before that and she's still breech, they will do a c-section. (Doc says they can't turn thr baby after labor starts).  Will they check her position when I get to the hospital? I just envision yelling "she's breech!" between contractions and the labor and delivery staff thinking I'm crazy.

In my hypnobirthing book there is a section on mentally focusing on turning a breech baby and they say it's effective. There are also hypnobirthing instructors that can help with this. There are a few Drs that are willing to help you birth a breech baby but they are rare and I'm sure u already have a dr chosen. Breech babies don't have to result in c section the problem is Drs don't want to be held liable. Goodluck

Your OB should perform a fast ultrasound to double check the position of your baby's head before you are wheeled into the OR. (This exact thing happened to me) They'll double check before just getting their scalpel out lol ! Good luck mama

I'm 31 weeks and my baby is breech as well. I was worried about it at first, my best friend said her first one was breech until 34 weeks. So I'm hoping she flips sometime in the next couple weeks...if not, there's nothing I can do about it, and I'll just give birth the healthiest way possible for my baby.
