Pink breastmilk!?

Help. I’m super worried. I went to change my nursing pads and the left one had some pink on it? My nipple is not cracked. I had the pads on for 8 hours/: and it was only pink slightly on the left one which coincidentally is the larger breast and leaks way worse than my right side. I pumped some milk out of the left and it wasn’t pink at all. So it was only on the nursing pad????

It could be you were wearing the nursing pad so long your milk changed colour on the pad.

I used to change mine every 3-4 hours. I wouldn’t recommend keeping them in so long as you might develop thrush or mastitis.

Pink in breast milk usually means the presence of blood. Do your boobs hurt at all? Like more than the norm? It may be mastasis.
