Neither of those. I’ll never understand why those are the “top brands”. Playtex Nursers and Playtex Ventaire are both fantastic. Couldn’t recommend them more!

We’ve tried Dr. Browns, Avent, and Playtex Nurser bottles. Playtex are my favorite, but we’re currently using Dr. Browns because I wanted to switch to glass to avoid chemicals, and the vent really does a good job preventing gas. Our son took to Dr. Browns immediately, but the glass ones do have a tendency to leak if you don’t twist the top on extremely tight, to the point where it’s a struggle for me to get them off every time. Our son liked Avent, I guess, but he had trouble latching onto the nipples so he would get milk all over his face every time. Not fun. 
Bottom line, if you don’t care about using glass vs plastic, Playtex Nurser bottles or Playtex Ventaire are the best, in my opinion.

We have both dr brown and Avent. She likes both!

I love the avent bottles, but only the ones shaped like "breasts", not the "regular" shaped bottles.
