My husband is a combat veteran, and he takes a multitude of medications to help with PTSD, depression, and pain from various injuries. At the present, he is taking Effexor, Klonopin, Depakote, Trazadone, and a medication that lowers his blood pressure (I cannot remember which specific one at the moment). We have been TTC for close to a year now, with no luck. I know this isn't a long time, but we are so anxious to start our little family. He has spoken to his VA doctor about the effects of these medications on conception, and gotten the same answer every time; they may effect fertility. I have gotten the same answers from doctors I've consulted. At this point, I am just looking for some personal stories. Has anyone struggled to conceive while you or your partner were taking these medications?
