Dating?

So I've been thinking about this topic for a while now and I still dont know what to do. Dating. I'm 13 and have tried so hard to figure out when I want to start dating. I feel that I am prepared and supposedly people think I'm mature. my parents are cool with it and trust me to decide on my own. I really need some advise guys ☺

Honestly, in my opinion, I feel that if there is no boy in the picture that is giving you butterflies and making you feel special, then how do you know you are ready to date? 
Don’t be desperate(not that you are) or you’ll get hurt. 
But let me just say, 
You don’t need a boyfriend to be happy. Not that you were saying you are unhappy by not having one. I just wanted to say that to you for you to keep in mind for when one day, when that one day comes, and you are unhappy with your boyfriend, you think of that.
