Clomid is only for people with infertility issues?

I always hear about the wonders of Clomid and want to try it but I don't have any issues regarding my uterus or fertility. We have been ttc for about a year now and I would love to try something to enhance my fertility.

if you've been trying for 8 months or more, you're considered to have fertility issues even if there is "no real reason" for them.  nothing wrong with trying clomid or letrozole.

Clomid forces your ovary to release an egg and it isn’t always successful. Unless you have issues with fertility or ovulation, you’re going to be hard pressed to find a RE or other doctor to prescribe it for you.

If you're interested, go to the doctor and talk to them about what's going on. They can give you the best options for your body. Most suggest trying for a year before you start fertility checkups, so it shouldn't be hard to find someone willing to listen. Good luck!!
