My ex only responds to me on holidays we broke up in October after 2 years and ended it on “good terms”. He said he still wanted to be my friend so I agreed not that it mattered to me. Ever since it ended he spoke to me only 2 times saying happy thanksgiving after I said it back never heard from him for another 3 weeks then he messaged me telling me that he hope I’m good and that he’s still there for me blah blah blah and now it’s Christmas 2 and a half weeks later and he messaged me merry Christmas. I guess I don’t see the point. We’re not friends so why even bother texting me? Idk I just don’t know if I should ignore it or just be nice and reply again with nothing in return again. Reason why I ended things was because he wanted a break because he didn’t know if he could handle working 2 jobs and a relationship said I deserved better I don’t believe in breaks so I ended it.
