Prenatal Vitamins linked to early miscarriage

For those of you who have been TTC and taking pre-natal vitamins prior to conception, please read this article: http://www.parents.com/blogs/everything-pregnancy/2014/01/27/healthy-pregnancy/prenatal-multivitamins-can-raise-risk-of-miscarriage/
The study was conducted by health care professionals and scientists. I would otherwise brush this off as another "miscarriage myth," but I would not be surprised at all if the cause exists. Here's what happened to me:
During my first pregnancy, my friend gave me a bottle of over the counter prenatal vitamins. After taking it regularly for the next few days, I had a miscarriage about the next week. I then followed the advice of my OBGYN to take prenatal vitamins before trying to conceive to prepare my body. I was given a different set of vitamins, they were prescription. I got pregnant a second time, but this time it ended in another early miscarriage. Since taking prenatal vitamins, my cycles have gotten longer and longer. My cycles were around 30-33 days average. Recently, it was closer to 40 days. Asking other moms-to-be around, they told me that taking pre-natal vitamins also screwed up their cycles. Many had their cycles lengthened up to 48 days. Once they got off the vitamins, their cycle popped back to normal.
My doctor hasn't found any defects in me. I wish I read this article sooner. Many women will think that is absolutely necessary to take those vitamins before conceiving and even after pregnancy. But, let me just say that our earth has a longer history of women who got pregnant and have babies without taking theses vitamins
.
I am going to go off the vitamins. Considering I've already had two MCs, I may as well try. My cycles are also screwed up right now, so hopefully this will get me back to track.
