Extreme constipation???

Question

Anyone else having really bad constipation??? I had IBS before I was pregnant so I'm normally running to the bathroom after I eat. But since I've been pregnant I don't go for at least 4-5 days at a time, sometimes only once a week 😑

It's very common. I take either milk of magnesia or a stool softener daily. Without, I'd go 4-5 days without a bowel movement as well and it gets terribly painful. I also try to drink lots of water, orange juice and eat fiber but that alone doesn't take care of 'things'. Both milk of magnesia and stool softeners are safe to take.

I’m 10+3 and have had it since I found out I was pregnant but here recently it’s gotten worse . I’ll go a week without a BM .

Not going. even if i eat foods or beverages that would cause me to run for the bathroom before. It's awful.
