Coffee?

Idk why I feel so guilty about drinking a cup of coffee, I’ve been doing decaf for almost the whole first trimester, I’m 10 weeks 2 days anyone else drink regular coffee!?

Here's the thing- before pregnancy, I would drink um... 8-9 cups a day 😳🙄😩
When we started TTC I cut down to 3, and when we got our BFP I've worked really hard to drop it down to 1. 
I know this isn't the greatest standard of comparison, but when I'm soaking in the smell and enjoying that first sip of my one morning coffee, anytime the slightest bit of guilt creeps in, I remind myself that there are mom's out there unfortunately using all kinds of illegal drugs.  One cup of coffee a day isn't going to hurt anything.
(And in fact, my nausea is always worse on the days I try to skip it, plus I get bad headaches.)

I drink one cup a day. I didn’t with my son but now I have a year old to chase sooooo I kind of need it :) all studies show that a cup a day is totally fine

I drink a cup most days. I started out on decaf but I was so so exhausted in the first 9 weeks or so I just needed that tiny boost from the real coffee! I only have one cup though, then have decaf if I want a second one later!

your allowed 200mg of caffeine a day. My Dr said 2 cups of coffee was ok. I usually stick to just 1 and switch to tea. if I have a 2nd cup I alternate with water

I worked midnights before TTC so I drank A LOT of caffeine. Once we started TTC I was down to about 3 or so plus a monster (I know terrible) but I'm an Rn with 5 kids.... since I found out I was prego I couldn't even stomach a whole cup. just in the last maybe two weeks I have been able to drink one cup a day. The recommendation for caffeine is less than 200mg a day. I stay under that and don't feel guilty.

I drink one cup a day and did with my son as well. My friend drank Coke the whole time she was pregnant and had a healthy baby at 41 weeks.
