Back pain like labor ?

I was just wondering how it feels when you're giving birth.

You know like when you're on your period your back hurts sooooo bad is that how it feels when your about to give birth ? Does epidural work ?

Worst...noting can compare its on its own level...u do get terrible back pain thou

I had pitocin induced back labor for 19 hours with no epidural or pain relief of any kind. Let me tell you, that pain far exceeded anything a period could ever do. I felt like I was being crushed from the inside out every 2 minutes. It was excruciating.

I survived it twice though, both times with pitocin and back labor and no pain meds.

Back labor + pitocin = pretty much your worst case scenario because both make labor more painful and more extreme

With epidurals and back labor it depends on the person. I've had it either way with clients. Sometimes it doesn't work on everywhere. That the thing, epidurals do not mean pain free. Like it generally rarely numbs your vagina so you still feel the 'ring of fire' and stuff. It numbs some backs and others no. Sometimes it goes wonky and your numb on one side so it could numb half your back too 😁.
