If I ovulated late it would make my period later correct??

Question

Backstory; On the app I was supposed to ovulate on the 4/5th. I thought I had but then around the 16th I had ewcm and I’m pretty sure I actually ovulated then....Originally I was supposed to start AF on the 19th but 7 days later I still haven’t started - I assume because I ovulated late, AF would be about 14 days after ovulation - so if true I wouldn’t start til the 30th. 
Also had a negative test 4 days ago,  3 days before supposed missed period. 
IF I OVULATED LATE MY PERIOD WOULD BE LATE CORRECT??

ovulating late most likely pushes your period start date back, but not necessarily.  sometimes women ovulate late, but just have an extremely short luteal phase, and their period starts as normal.   unfortunately, without opk's and bbt, its gonna be difficult to know which situation you are in.
